Capital Auto Trimmers is a long-established family owned business which started in Durban in 1998, where the lead upholsterer Ash with his grandfather and father built the business into one of the market leaders in Kwa-Zulu Natal.
After visiting Cape Town in 2017, Ash identified the need for high quality upholsterers in this region resulting in him moving to Cape Town and setting up shop in Retreat during 2018. Capital Auto is a 100% black owned entity with 51% black women ownership, making it a level 1 BEE contributor.
